LEARNING DISABILITY RUGBY LEAGUE

Learning Disability Rugby League is aimed at bringing the sport of rugby to those in their local communities with learning disabilities or associated conditions, with emphasis on enjoyment and inclusivity.

​At the Featherstone Rovers Foundation, we are proud to be a part of the LDRL and to offer a place where people with learning disabilities can come and enjoy rugby while developing both physically and socially.

  • The games last 40 minutes, consisting of 2 20 minute halves and takes place on a quarter-pitch.

  • Teams are 7 a side and can have 2 non-disabled players take the role of facilitators.

  • The games are non-contact and follow Tag RL rules.
