  • Advice on reducing your risk of a further stroke

  • Telephone support, video meetings and home visits.

Stroke Association Wakefield

The Stroke Support Service is run by the Stroke Association and jointly commissioned by NHS Wakefield District and Wakefield Council.

The Stroke Support Service is a visiting service that provides support and information to people who have had a stroke, their families and carers. We work with the stroke survivor to agree realistic goals and support the individual to achieve them.
