We are here to support people in Wakefield who are suffering from common low level mental health problems such as low mood, depression, anxiety and worry.
We can provide free 1-1, group and online therapy to anyone over 16 who is registered with a Wakefield and District GP. As well as providing a range of treatments for people suffering from anxiety and depression, we can support people suffering from panic attacks; poor sleep and intrusive thoughts.
We also offer 90 minutes wellbeing workshops on a range of topics such as mindfulness, body image and wellbeing at work. These can be booked onto directly via our website.
We are a self-referral service so you can give us a call or go on our website to refer – no need to go to your GP. As we are funded by the CCG, all of our services are free to use as long as you are over 16 and registered with a Wakefield GP.
Give us on a call on 01924 234 860; visit our website at talking.turning-point.co.uk or find us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for more information.
